To kick off your dream honeymoon in Egypt, you’ll fuel up with a fantastic breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Your Secret of Egypt tour guide will pick you up and take you to your first stop of the day; the ancient capital of the Old Kingdom, Memphis.

After exploring this fascinating site for a little bit, you will then head over to Saqqara, one of the most interesting necropolises in Egypt. Following your time at Saqqara you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and some down-time to rest up for the final stop of the day. The Giza Pyramids are one of the last remaining 7 Wonders of the World and are located on the Giza Plateau with the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

After this thrilling and spectacular morning of sight seeing around Cairo, you will board a sleeper train heading for Upper Egypt and the charming city of Aswan.

Upon arrival at Aswan, you will be met at the train station by another friendly Unknown Egypt Travel tour leader who will accompany you to the Movenpick Aswan Hotel. After taking a respite at the hotel, you will go out for a tour of the lovely city of Aswan.

First you will visit the Aswan High Dam, and the next stop will be the fascinating Philae Temple. Next you will take a tour of the Botanical Gardens and last but not least, a scheduled tour of Elephantine Island by Felucca boat will wrap up the day before you head back to your luxury hotel for the evening.

No visit to Aswan is complete without spending time in a warm and welcoming Nubian village. You will take a traditional Felucca again today to a nearby colorful Nubian town where you will have time to stroll around and explore. Just around sunset you will take part in a special Nubian Zaffa complete with beautiful traditional song and dance.

After this unique celebration in honor of your recent nuptials, you will be transported back to your hotel in Aswan for the night.

As usual, another delicious breakfast will be served at your hotel after which you will have the day to yourself to discover the beauty of Aswan. Your Secret of Egypt tour leader is available to give you some tips and suggestions of what to see, or strike out on your own adventure for the day.

Later you will board the evening train for Cairo where you will enjoy dinner and a comfortable cabin to rest for the night.

Upon arrival in Cairo, your Secret of Egypt tour leader/guide will meet you at the train station and whisk you away to the famed Egyptian Museum, home to hundreds of thousands amazing pharaonic and other ancient artifacts. You will also get the chance to visit two of Islamic Cairo’s most stunning sites; the Citadel of Salah El Din and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali.

Later in the evening, after checking into your luxury hotel, paint the town red by joining a Nile dinner cruise with a fabulous belly dancing show. Return to your hotel for a restful night.

Set the night on fire with a Nile dinner cruise in the evening, complete with a fantastic belly dancing show, Western music and a folklore show, before retiring for the night back at your hotel.
