Then it’s off to the magical Black and White Deserts for a change of pace. Enjoy a peaceful stay at the Bahariya Oasis, discover the Valley of the Golden Mummies, and feast your eyes and senses on the spectacular volcanic crystals at the Crystal Mountain. Visit Mount Agabat and fall asleep under the wide desert sky in the White Desert.

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your 6 Day Cairo and the Black and White Desert Tour Package begins with a warm welcome from your Secret of Egypt tour leader, who will accompany you to your well-appointed hotel in comfort. After check-in, the tour leader will review your tour itinerary, confirming departure times from the hotel. Then you will be free to enjoy your time as you like. Your tour leader will be happy to make any recommendations for things to do near your hotel in case you would like to explore on your own.
You’ll start your day with a 5-star breakfast, after which your tour guide will greet you and escort you in a comfortable air-conditioned car to kick-off your Cairo tour. You will visit some of the most well-known and beloved historical attractions in and around the city.
First stop will be the world-renowned Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, as well as the Sphinx and the lesser know yet intriguing Valley Temple. The largest of the Giza pyramids, The Great Pyramid, is the only one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World that is still standing.
Once you’ve finished marveling at the beauty of the Giza Pyramids complex, you will enjoy a lovely lunch at a nearby restaurant. Take the opportunity to rest and refuel for the afternoon’s adventures.
The next stop on the tour will be the incredible Egyptian Museum near downtown’s newly renovated Tahrir Square. You will be guided through the many rooms full of tens of thousands of ancient artifacts on display. The Egyptian Museum also offers a special animal mummies Room where you can view several animal mummies on display, as it is included as part of admission with the 6 Day Cairo and the Black and White Desert Tour Package. After you have had your fill of fascinating ancient artifacts, your tour guide will escort you to the area known as Coptic Cairo where you will take in the Hanging Church of Cairo and the interesting Ben Ezra Synagogue.
The last stop of the day will be in Islamic Cairo and the colorful and historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar. This area of Cairo is widely agreed to be a must-see when visiting Egypt. The bazaar, in existence since the 14th century, consists of narrow streets and enchanting cafes and shops full of keepsakes. Shop if you like, but if not, you won’t be disappointed exploring this charming part of Cairo.
Once finished at Khan El Khalili, you will head back to the hotel for an evening of relaxation or of more free-time exploration of the “City that Never Sleeps” after sunset if you like.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before you check out and with your tour guide and driver, start the journey to your next adventure at the Bahariya Oasis. There you will tour the Golden Mummies Museum which houses amazing artifacts from the Greco-Roman era. You will also be treated to a tour of the English House and free time to explore the local shops.
After a full day of exploration, you will be escorted to your luxury hotel where you will check in for the night.

You will enjoy a lovely breakfast at the hotel in Bahariya Oasis before checking out to continue the adventure in the Black and White Deserts respectively.
First stop will be a visit to an enchanting desert hot spring in the Valley of El Haize in the Black Desert, before moving on to Crystal Mountain where you will witness a dazzling display of volcanic quartz crystals. Before the end of the day, you will travel to the Valley of Agabat where you will join a Bedouin camp. Here you will be treated to wonderful hospitality and comfort that the Bedouin are famous for, and have a peaceful night’s rest under the stars. If the weather does not permit outdoor camping, you will check into the well-appointed Farafra Oasis Hotel.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner
Breakfast will be served by your friendly Bedouin hosts, and then you will have some free time to check out the hot spring and surrounding area before your journey back to Cairo.
On arrival, you will check into the same luxury hotel as before, and in the evening, you are welcome to partake in one of two optional tours: either a dinner cruise on the Nile, or the spectacular sound and light show at the Pyramids of Giza. Both are highly recommended.
