Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your unforgettable 6 Day Cairo & Alexandria tour Package begins with a warm welcome from your Secret of Egypt tour leader, who will accompany you to your well-appointed hotel in comfort. After check-in, the tour manager will review your tour itinerary, confirming departure times from the hotel. Then you will be free to enjoy your time as you like. Your tour leader will be happy to make any recommendations for things to do near your hotel in case you would like to explore on your own.
Refresh and relax with a complimentary celebration drink, and spend the remainder of the day as you wish. Your Unknown Egypt tour leader will be happy to make any suggestions for places of interest near your accommodations.
You’ll start your day with a 5-star breakfast, after which your tour guide will greet you and escort you in a comfortable air-conditioned car to kick-off your Cairo tour. You will visit some of the most well-known and beloved historical attractions in and around the city.
First stop will be the world-renowned Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, as well as the Sphinx and the lesser known yet intriguing Valley Temple. The largest of the Giza pyramids, The Great Pyramid, is the only one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World that is still standing.
Once you’ve finished marveling at the beauty of the Giza Pyramids complex, you will enjoy a lovely lunch at a nearby restaurant. Take the opportunity to rest and refuel for the afternoon’s adventures.
The next stop on the tour will be the incredible Egyptian Museum near downtown’s newly renovated Tahrir Square.
Your tour guide will guide you through the many rooms full of tens of thousands of ancient artifacts on display. The Treasures Room is surely one of the most spectacular highlights of the museum. King Tutankham’s sealed tomb was first entered in the early 20th century and found fully intact, including all the incredible artifacts buried with him to take to the afterlife. Because of this you can view all of these beautiful artifacts as well as King Tut’s mummy in the Treasure Room, which is included in the admission to the museum as a guest of Secret of Egypt’s 6 Day Cairo & Alexandria tour Package. After you have had your fill of fascinating ancient artifacts, your tour guide will escort you to the area known as Coptic Cairo where you will take in the Hanging Church of Cairo and the interesting Ben Ezra Synagogue.
The last stop of the day will be in Islamic Cairo and the colorful and historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar. This area of Cairo is widely agreed to be a must-see when visiting Egypt. The bazaar, in existence since the 14th century, consists of narrow streets and enchanting cafes and shops full of keepsakes. Shop if you like, but if not, you won’t be disappointed exploring this charming part of Cairo. Once finished at Khan El Khalili, you will head back to the hotel for an evening of relaxation or of more free-time exploration of the “City that Never Sleeps” after sunset if you like.

After another delicious breakfast you will be accompanied to the Pharaonic Village, where you will view what daily life was like for ancient Egyptians. Just before sunset you will return to your hotel for the evening.

Fuel up with some breakfast before checking out of the hotel and heading up to the ancient and charming sea-side city of Alexandria. There you will discover the Qaitbay Citadel, the Montazah Palace, and the incredible New Alexandria Library. You will also explore the Roman Catacombs, cut out of solid rock beneath the city. After your full day of visiting Alexandria, you will check into your well-appointed accommodations for the night.

Another tasty breakfast will start your day before being escorted back to Cairo where you will check in to your hotel again, and be left alone to enjoy some quality time together. Your Secret of Egypt tour guide will be happy to assist you if you are interested in doing something fun in the city for the day or booking a romantic dinner for two.
