We will take you to the famous and beautiful Great Pyramids of Giza complex, including the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Of course, you will visit the popular Egyptian Museum where you can view tens of thousands of ancient artifacts, including the contents of the tomb and the mummy of the boy-pharaoh, King Tutankhamun. You will browse through Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most lovely markets in the world, where you can buy souvenirs and perhaps enjoy some tea.
A short flight to Luxor will place you in the midst of some of the most sacred and incredible sites of ancient Egypt. Visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples. Your 5 Day Cairo / Luxor Deluxe Tour Package will begin by receiving a warm welcome from your tour Leader at the Cairo International Airport, and you will be accompanied in a comfortable vehicle to your 5-star hotel. The tour manager will help you settle in for your stay. Before leaving you to relax for the evening, he will review the itinerary and confirm pick-up times for each day.
Enjoy a complimentary welcome drink and feel free to spend your time as you like. Your Secret of Egypt Tour Leader will be happy to make any recommendations for things to do near your hotel in case you would like to explore on your own.
You’ll start your day with a 5-star breakfast, after which your tour Guide will greet you and escort you in a comfortable car to kick-off your Cairo tour with the most famous pyramids.
First stop will be the world-renowned Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, as well as the Sphinx and the lesser known yet intriguing Valley Temple, which is situated so that it faces the great monument. The largest of the Giza pyramids, The Great Pyramid, is the only one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World that is still standing. If you are interested, tickets to the Solar Boat Museum which sits in front of the Cheops Pyramid, will also be available for purchase.
Next your tour manager will take you to the incredible Egyptian Museum near downtown’s newly renovated Tahrir Square, where he will guide you through the many rooms full of tens of thousands of ancient artifacts on display.
The Treasures Room is surely one of the most spectacular highlights of the museum. King Tut-Ankh-Amon’s sealed tomb was first entered in the early 20th century and found fully intact, including all the incredible artifacts buried with him to take to the afterlife. Because of this you can view all of these beautiful artifacts as well as King Tut’s mummy in the Treasure Room, which is included in the admission to the museum as a guest of Secret of Egypt’s 5 Day Cairo / Luxor Deluxe Tour Package.
Lastly, you will discover the area known as Coptic Cairo where you will visit the Hanging Church of Cairo and the interesting Ben Ezra Synagogue.

You will start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, and after your Cairo Secret of Egypt tour leader will escort you to the Cairo International Airport where you will board a short flight to Luxor. A tour coordinator from Secret of Egypt will be there to give you a warm welcome and accompany you to your beautiful hotel and assist you with check in.
Immediately after check-in, you will begin your journey at the spectacular Valley of the Kings, where you will experience the rich architectural and cultural history of the site and visit various tombs of the ancient rulers, including King Tut-Ankh-Amon. The spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the Queen herself, is the next stop on the itinerary. The longest ruling full-blood Egyptian queen, she was the daughter of 18th Dynasty pharaoh, Thutmosis I.
Next you will make a short visit to the Colossi of Memnon, the ruins of the mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III, before heading back to your hotel for rest and relaxation into the evening.
Optional Excursion: A visit to the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temples.

After enjoying another fantastic breakfast at your hotel, you will check-out and your tour manager will accompany you to the magical Karnak and Luxor Temples respectively. Spend time exploring the halls of the famous temples of Luxor. When you’ve had your fill of these magnificent sites, you will head back to the Luxor Airport to catch a flight back to Cairo. The Cairo tour Leader will be there to greet you and make sure you get settled into your hotel in Cairo for the evening.
