You’ll start your day with a 5-star breakfast, after which your tour guide will greet you and escort you in a comfortable car to kick-off your Cairo tour with the most famous pyramids.

First stop will be the world-renowned Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, as well as the Sphinx and the lesser known yet intriguing Valley Temple, which is situated so that it faces the great monument. The largest of the Giza pyramids, The Great Pyramid, is the only one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World that is still standing. If you are interested, tickets to the Solar Boat Museum which sits in front of the Cheops Pyramid, will also be available for purchase.

After a full morning at the Giza Pyramid Complex, you will enjoy a lovely lunch at a nearby restaurant. Take the opportunity to rest and refuel for the afternoon’s adventures.

Next you will journey over to Sakkara where you will visit the Sakkara necropolis, including the first pyramid built in ancient Egypt, the Step Pyramid of Djoser.

After another lovely breakfast at the hotel, your tour manager will take you to the incredible Egyptian Museum near downtown’s newly renovated Tahrir Square. Your tour manager will guide you through the many rooms full of tens of thousands of ancient artifacts on display.

The Treasures Room is surely one of the most spectacular highlights of the museum. King Tut-Ankh-Amon’s sealed tomb was first entered in the early 20th century and found fully intact, including all the incredible artifacts buried with him to take to the afterlife. Because of this you can view all of these beautiful artifacts as well as King Tut’s mummy in the Treasure Room, which is included in the admission to the museum as a guest of Secret of Egypt’s 4 Day Cairo Famous Sites Tour Package.
The Egyptian Museum also offers a special animal Mummies Room where you can view several animal mummies on display, as it is included as part of admission with the 4 Day Cairo Famous Sites Tour Package.

You will take your lunch at a well-known local restaurant, after which you will be escorted to Coptic Cairo where you visit the Hanging Church of Cairo and the interesting Ben Ezra Synagogue.
The last stop of the day will be in Islamic Cairo and the colorful and historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar. This area of Cairo is widely agreed to be a must-see when visiting Egypt. The bazaar, in existence since the 14th century, consists of narrow streets and enchanting cafes and shops full of keepsakes. Shop if you like, but if not, you won’t be disappointed exploring this charming part of Cairo.

Once finished at Khan El Khalili, you will head back to the hotel for an evening of relaxation or of more free-time exploration of the city that Never Sleeps after sunset if you like.

After breakfast on Day 4 of your tour, you have two options: either take the day to do your own exploration of Cairo, or enjoy an arranged tour of the lovely city of Alexandria, only a 2.5-hour trip outside of Cairo.

The tour of Alexandria will include a stop at the historically significant Qaitbay Citadel, built on the ancient site of the Alexandria lighthouse and used as a major stronghold on the Mediterranean to protect the city from seafaring invaders. Enjoy beautiful views of the city and the sea from this amazing site.

The Catacombs are on the next leg of the Tour of Alexandria, allowing visitors to witness the underground cemetery cut from the rock and left by the Romans.

You will spend your last night relaxing at the hotel in Cairo before you depart the next day.
